"GRATITUDE" Feel to Heal II Rustic Yoga Retreat Taught by Ricky Tran, BBA, ERYT500, YACEP, CBA Wimberly, TX 78676 November 27-29, 2020
We understand there are concerns regarding the pandemic. The last retreat we hosted end of September sold out at 21 people and no one got sick from it. We require everyone to make online health declarations once at registration and then again immediately prior to arrival. We choose to be smart and courageous. You are welcome to join us if you are the same.
This retreat is designed to slow you down so you can be present with yourself at the physical, mental/emotional, intellectual/wisdom, and spiritual/bliss levels.
We will align and unite with the divine current of GRATITUDE in this retreat.
My Feel to Heal Retreats are all about healing.. and in order to heal oneself, i believe it is important that we learn to feel. I will encourage you to look for the feel-good.
I'll show you modifications that will open trouble areas that lead to pain, physically and mentally.
The idea is to leave feeling 108% better and wiser than when you arrived.
You'll leave with tools and techniques that will benefit you for the rest of your life, GUARANTEED!
Provided: Accommodations, coffee, tea, UV filtered well water, access to a full commercial kitchen with cooking supplies/appliances, refrigerator, etc.
Grocery & restaurants 8 minutes down the road in Wimberley, TX.
Bring: Bring your own meals, see dining options below. I suggest eat very lightly this weekend. Yoga mat, blocks, strap, meditation seat/cushion, any other props.
**Please see dining options below. I suggest bringing your food (2 dinner, 2 breakfast, 1 lunch). Again, fruit, snacks, coffee and tea are provided all weekend and for best results, I suggest eating minimally (not fasting).
10am Arrival and check in.
2pm (yoga studio) Demystifying the Bandhas (locks) and yoga purifications and some asana/postures - explore the 3 locks we use in hatha yoga practice (moola, uddyana and jalandhara bandha), benefits all internal organs heart, lungs, digestion, elimination, the nervous system, spine and helps to attain and deepen various hatha yoga postures.
4pm (yoga studio) Introductions and Dharma Talk by Ricky Tran
6pm (the lodge kitchen) Group meal, meet and greet
9pm Kirtan/Meditation - Kirtan is call/listen and response singing/chanting designed to quiet the monkey mind and open the lotus heart. Bring a comfortable seat, and you may bring percussion instrument you know how to play. Ricky will lead.
6am - 8am Breakfast - Coffee/tea provided. Bring your own meals. Full kitchen with supplies available for you to cook. For best results, practice yoga with empty stomach, bladder and bowels. Do your neti-pot before practice.
8am - 11am Healing Vinyasa Yoga All Levels
Talk followed by purifying hatha vinyasa yoga practice including pranayama, kirtan and meditation/relaxation.
11am -2pm Lunch Break / Private Sessions with Ricky
30-60 min private sessions with Ricky Tran available. Correcting, body-work or yoga-related questions. Book directly with Ricky.
re FOOD: KEEP IT SIMPLE and don't venture far! I suggest you stick around and do your own cooking or eat some fruit and keep your stomach half empty.
2-6pm (with breaks) Lecture, Q&A, Postures Clinic, Intro to Meditation Discourse and Practice

Yoga theory or questions about your personal practice only.
Postures Clinic - foundational, intermediate and advanced.. beginners (everyone) will see and learn how to progress. Learn what modifications will bring you closer to accomplishing. Ricky will demonstrate and teach progression and modifications for advancing yoga postures. Props may be used.
6pm Dinner - FREE TIME
Recommended: --Cook in! We have a great kitchen available on property --Relax! Go hiking on your own around the property, go star gazing with binoculars or telescope. Jump in the hot tub.
--Go dine out & experience Wimberely. 8 minute drive down the road.
Enjoy dinner at either Wimberely Cafe (great American Fare), Leaning Pear (more upscale), finished with Los Olivas (wine bar)

1pm - 2pm Closing Circle - sharing, questions, kirtan, meditation, etc.
2pm - 3pm Departure

CANCELLATION POLICY: 100% refund if we cancel the retreat. If retreat is cancelled due to an Act of God, we will reschedule the event. Should you choose to not participate in rescheduled event, nonrefundable. All other guest cancellations are nonrefundable as we are within the cancellation policy window of the facility.
